“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1-2)

Young Adults gather at Lorne Park Baptist church, comprised of post-secondary students, working adults, and young families. Dedicated servants seeking to understand God’s Word and applying His teachings to living as Christ-like people in our daily surroundings.

The Young Adult group now meets once a month on Saturday evenings for a potluck, time of worship, and teaching. We will also be making an endeavor to become involved in mission opportunities in the New Year.

Other activities include attending the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec Young Adults Retreat, leading youth focused services all ages can benefit from, participating as leaders to Lorne Park’s youth ministries, as well as attending other various events. With a focus on empowering our young adults to be active leaders in the church, many opportunities are provided to volunteer in various different aspects.
