The latest updates from Lorne Park Baptist Church:
A Message to Our Congregation Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic
As we continue to do our part in helping slow the spread of COVID-19, we promise to keep you updated. If you are not currently on our church e-blast to receive up to date news, happenings and prayer concerns, please contact the moderator, Ward Pipher, at wardpipher@rogers.com to be added to our distribution list.
As you may be aware, Lorne Park partners with a number of other churches to support The Compass Foodbank. There is an urgent need for funds and food items to support this important work. If you are able to help financially or by providing food donations please visit The Compass for more information and ways you can help.
During this time while we are not able to hold worship in our church building, the LPBC staff has been meeting virtually to touch base and pray over our congregation on a regular basis. For our latest update from Executive Council to the congregation, please click here. Here is today’s sermon from Pastor Justin “It Happens At Home.” Finally, the Stephen Ministers continue to reach out to individuals who are in need of prayer. For more information, follow our Facebook page to join Laura and the team on Friday afternoons (links to be made available on Facebook). If you have any prayer requests during this time, please reach out to Laura Sellakandu at lauramstlouis@gmail.com

About Lorne Park Baptist Church
A spirit-filled church made up of families, singles, children, youth, young adults and seniors seeking to know God personally. Some are long time Christ Followers, while others are trying to figure out who God is and what Christianity is all about. We are all different, but here for one common reason, to discover the truths in the Bible and make them practical in our lives today.
At Lorne Park Baptist Church, everyone is on a journey – to know God personally and experience His love and grace. Seeking God’s way, trusting Him and living out a different life than doing it on our own, people here help each other to grow in our relationship with Christ, no matter where we are in our spiritual journey.
