  • That Warren M. medical procedure went well, and he is currently home.
  • That our newcomers have secured employment and it is enabling them to support themselves.
  • For the clothing, nonperishable food and household donations that continues to be a blessing to those in need.
  • For everyone doing visitations that are offering support and encouragement to church members.
  • For the safe arrival of those who were traveling this summer.
  • For keeping everyone safe during the summer.
  • For Jonathan Roe leading worship this upcoming Sunday.

Healing

“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed,” 1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV)

  • Please pray for Rev. Pam Cullen, who finished her second round of chemotherapy. Pray that the treatment is effective and that her heart remains strong throughout the process.
  • For Anthony in the Czech Republic (Sylvia’s brother-in-law) that he may be healed from stage 4 liver cancer and find the strength to surrender his life to the Lord.
  • Prayers for Ken (John G.’s son) for continued progress towards good health and wholeness.
  • God’s healing power for Joe L. over his liver.
  • Complete healing and wholeness for Daria (wife of Anton Y., concert conductor) from stage 4 cancer.
  • For Tricia L. (Stuart’s wife) receiving kidney treatment. That her kidneys will be restored to health.
  • For Dorothy, Ruth M.’s friend, as she heals from cancer and experiences God’s peace while trusting Him on this journey.

Church

“Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.
To that end keep alert with all perseverance,
making supplication for all the saints,” Ephesians 6:18

  • For protection over our students from violence and ungodly perspectives as they resume classes next week. For a smooth transition back into the mode of studies and for practices that will support their mental health.
  • For teachers and staff supporting students this calendar year. That they will be graced with patients and tenacity for the year ahead.
  • For a ministry that effectively supports and engages young adults as they deepen their faith in Jesus.
  • That we gain the courage to share our faith as we grow in our understanding of God’s Word.
  • For Evelyn, our sponsored child, to feel loved and to understand that God has a plan for her life.
  • That more individuals will choose to be baptized at the upcoming baptism service.
  • For our unsaved loved ones to soon surrender their lives to Jesus before His return.
  • That we may identify the needs within our community and trust the Lord to empower us to make meaningful connections.

National & Global

“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words,” Romans 8:26

  • For the families mourning the lost of their children by the senseless killing in Minneapolis.
  • For the safety of Mississauga residents amidst an increase in crime within the city.
  • That the federal and provincial governments collaborate effectively to address the ongoing tariff disputes with the US.
  • That Christians intercede for this country, steadfastly praying for our leaders.
  • That Canadians remain resilient in the face of fluctuating challenges with increasing tariffs.
