“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness,” (Lamentations 3:22-23).

• Self-Sufficient: God has no needs and depends on nothing outside of Himself to exist 

• Good: God acts with generosity and a desire to bless His creation

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus,”  (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed,”   (Isaiah 53:5)

• Richard (Mary RG’s Friend) — Let us continue to pray for Richard as he faces a serious medical condition. May God grant him comfort, peace, and healing according to His will. Pray also for Mary as she supports her friend, and especially that Richard’s heart will be open to the Gospel and the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
• Conductive Education Academy (CE Academy) — Pray that the students will continue to grow, learn, and flourish in their program at our church. May God strengthen their families, guide the dedicated staff, and help our church building remain a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.
• Sunil (Friend of Natalie’s Sister in Trinidad) — Continue to lift Sunil up as he undergoes treatment for Stage 3 cancer. Pray for strength, effective treatment, and wisdom for his medical team. May God comfort Sunil and his loved ones and fill them with peace, courage, and hope.
• Kevin (Pier T.’s Cousin in North Carolina) — Pray for Kevin as he continues radiation and chemotherapy. May the treatments be effective, and may God renew his physical and emotional strength each day. Ask the Lord to comfort Kevin and his family and sustain them with hope and perseverance.
• Shut-ins and Seniors — Let us remember our seniors and those who are homebound, especially those experiencing loneliness or mobility challenges. Pray that God will strengthen and comfort them and remind them they are loved and valued. May He guide us to offer meaningful fellowship through visits, phone calls, prayer, and acts of kindness.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,
but encouraging one another,”  (Hebrews 10:24–25)

• Witnessing to Our Community — Pray that we will faithfully share the love and hope of the Gospel with those who participate in the community programs held in our building. May they experience Christ’s love through our words, actions, and genuine care.
• Boldness in Sharing the Gospel — Ask the Lord to give us courage and confidence to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. As we grow in our understanding of His Word, may the Holy Spirit guide us to speak with wisdom, love, and boldness.
• Canadian Missions Society Praise & Worship Night — Pray for the Praise & Worship Night at LPBC on Friday, November 6. May God’s presence fill the evening with joyful praise and heartfelt worship, drawing our church family and the wider community closer to Him. May this gathering renew hearts, strengthen faith, and bring glory to His name.
• Canadian Missions Society Conference — Pray for the Canadian Missions Society Conference on November 13–14. May God inspire and equip those attending to share the hope of Jesus Christ, open doors for new mission opportunities locally and beyond, and strengthen partnerships that advance His Kingdom.
• Belle Lin — Continue to pray for Belle Lin, a student at Lorne Park Secondary School, as she steps out in faith to lead an Alpha Bible Study. Ask God to grant her confidence, wisdom, and guidance, and to bless the teacher supporting her. Pray that students will be receptive to the invitation and that the study will become a welcoming space for honest conversations about faith, life, and Jesus.
• Children, Youth & Young Adults — Pray for the spiritual growth and well-being of the next generation in our church family. May they deepen their relationship with Jesus, become firmly grounded in His truth, and seek His wisdom in their daily lives. Ask God to provide meaningful friendships, a strong sense of belonging, and opportunities to discover their gifts and God-given purpose. May they have the courage to live out their faith wherever He leads them.
• Volunteers & Ministry Leaders — Lift up those who faithfully serve our children, youth, and families. Pray that God will renew their strength, especially during demanding seasons, and fill them with wisdom, patience, compassion, and joy. May their faithful service and Christlike example nurture lasting faith and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the next generation.
• Our Church Family — Pray that the Lord will draw us closer to Him and deepen the unity and fellowship we share. May He cultivate in us a greater hunger for His Word, a more consistent commitment to prayer, and a desire to grow in spiritual maturity. May our life together reflect Christ’s love, grace, and hope, both within our church and throughout the wider community.
• The Choir — Pray for our choir as they prepare to lead worship this Sunday. May God guide their preparation, strengthen them in their ministry, and draw their hearts closer to Him. Through their music and leadership, may we be led into sincere worship, reminded of God’s goodness, encouraged in our faith, and inspired to respond to Him with open and grateful hearts.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

• Alberta and National Unity — Pray that God’s will be done as Albertans consider the province’s future within Canada. May He guide hearts and minds toward wisdom, peace, and the well-being of all Canadians.
• Canada–United States Relations — Ask God to grant wisdom, discernment, and patience to Canadian leaders as they negotiate with U.S. officials amid economic challenges. Pray for fair agreements that protect livelihoods, strengthen cooperation, and benefit both nations.
• Upcoming Mayoral Elections in Toronto and Mississauga — Pray for wisdom and discernment for voters as they prepare to elect their municipal leaders. May those elected serve with integrity, humility, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of their communities.
• God’s Protection Over Our Families — Pray for God’s continued protection, guidance, and peace over our families and homes. May He keep us rooted in His truth, strengthen our faith, deepen our love for one another, and guide us through the challenges and decisions of daily life.
