“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning;

• Gracious: God gives unearned blessings and favor to His creation.
• Faithful: God always keeps His word and acts consistently with His character

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus,”  (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed,”   (Isaiah 53:5)

• Sunil — Let us continue to hold Sunil, a friend of Natalie’s sister in Trinidad, before the Lord as he walks through treatment for Stage 3 cancer. May God sustain him through each stage of treatment, renew his strength when he is weary, and give him courage for each day. Pray also for his loved ones and caregivers, that God would give them wisdom, patience, and grace. Above all, may Sunil experience the Lord’s nearness, peace, and hope throughout this journey.
• Kevin — Please continue to keep Kevin, Pier T.’s cousin in North Carolina, in prayer as he undergoes radiation and chemotherapy. Pray for renewed strength, endurance through the challenges of treatment, and encouraging signs of progress. May the treatments accomplish their intended purpose, and may Kevin and his family be upheld by God’s peace and presence. Let us pray that they will continue to find hope and courage one day at a time.
• Shut-ins and Seniors — Let us continue to remember our shut-ins and seniors, especially those who may be experiencing loneliness, isolation, or reduced mobility. Pray that they will be reminded that they are not forgotten, but are deeply valued and loved by God and by their church family. May the Lord bring encouragement, companionship, and renewed joy into their lives, and prompt us as a church to reach out through visits, calls, and simple acts of kindness that help them feel connected and cared for.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,
but encouraging one another,”  (Hebrews 10:24–25)

• Donna-Lee & Gustavo — Thank the Lord for Donna-Lee’s improving health and pray that she will continue to recover, especially from the effects of cigarette smoke. Please pray for more opportunities for Gustavo to share the Gospel, following a recent encouraging opportunity to give out a Gospel of John booklet. Pray for his health, strength, wisdom, and the Holy Spirit’s guidance as he serves.
• Belle Lin — Please continue to pray for Belle Lin, a student at Lorne Park Secondary School, as she takes a courageous step of faith in leading an Alpha Bible Study. Pray that God will give her confidence, wisdom, and guidance, and bless the teacher who is supporting her. May students be open to the invitation, and may this study provide a welcoming space for honest conversations about faith, life, and Jesus.
• Children, Youth & Young Adults — Let us continue to pray for the next generation of our church family. May they grow in their relationship with Jesus, become firmly rooted in their faith, and seek God’s guidance in their daily decisions. Pray that they will experience meaningful friendships and a strong sense of belonging, discover their gifts and God-given purpose, and have the courage to live out their faith wherever they are.
• Volunteers & Ministry Leaders — Continue to pray for those who faithfully serve our children, youth, and families. Ask God to renew their strength, especially during busy or demanding seasons, and to give them wisdom, patience, compassion, and joy in serving. May their dedication and example have a lasting impact on the lives and faith of the next generation.
• Our Church Family — Pray that God will draw us into a deeper relationship with Him and strengthen the unity and fellowship we share as a church family. May He create in us a growing hunger for His Word, a renewed commitment to prayer, and a desire to mature in our faith. Pray that our lives together will increasingly reflect Christ’s love, grace, and hope to one another and to our wider community.
• The Worship Team — As our worship team prepares to lead us this Sunday, pray that God will guide their preparation, strengthen them as they serve, and draw their own hearts closer to Him. May their music and leadership point us to Christ and create an atmosphere where we can worship sincerely, reflect on God’s goodness, receive His encouragement, and respond to Him with open hearts.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

• Constable Jeff Smith and His Family — Continue to pray for Constable Jeff Smith of the Belleville Police Service as he recovers from the serious injuries he sustained in the recent shooting. Pray for God’s healing hand, renewed strength, and a steady recovery in the days ahead. Please also remember his family and loved ones, asking God to surround them with His peace, comfort, and strength.
• Upcoming Municipal Elections — Toronto & Mississauga: As Toronto and Mississauga prepare for their municipal elections on October 26, pray for wisdom and discernment for voters as they consider the choices before them. Pray for a peaceful and fair electoral process, and for those elected to serve their communities with integrity, humility, wisdom, fairness, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of their communities.
• Communities Affected by Natural Disasters — Continue to remember communities around the world recovering from devastating floods, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. Pray especially for those who have lost loved ones, homes, or livelihoods. Ask God to provide comfort to those who are grieving, strength to those facing uncertainty, and timely assistance for communities rebuilding their lives. May relief efforts reach those most in need, and may God bring healing, restoration, and hope in the midst of hardship.
• Our Nation & Those Affected by Wildfires — Continue to pray for communities across Canada affected by wildfires. Remember firefighters, emergency responders, volunteers, and all those working to protect lives, homes, and communities. Pray for those who have been displaced or are facing the uncertainty of evacuation, that they will receive safe shelter, practical assistance, and encouragement. May God strengthen communities as they respond, recover, and rebuild. Canada continues to experience significant wildfire activity, with current conditions varying across the country.
• Global Peace & Canada–U.S. Relations — Continue to pray for people living in places affected by war, conflict, and unrest, particularly those enduring the ongoing effects of the war in Ukraine. Pray for protection and provision for families caught in conflict, and for wisdom, restraint, and humility among leaders seeking peaceful and constructive paths forward. Also pray for Canada and the United States as they navigate trade and economic matters, asking for respectful dialogue, wise decisions, and cooperation that contributes to the well-being of people in both countries.
• God’s Protection Over Our Families — Continue to pray for God’s presence, protection, and guidance over our families and homes. In a world filled with many competing voices and influences, ask the Lord to keep our hearts and minds anchored in His truth. May our families grow together in faith, encourage one another in love, and seek God’s wisdom in the decisions and challenges we face each day.

• Queen Street Baptist Church, St. Catharines — Let us continue to lift up Queen Street Baptist Church as they navigate the ongoing restoration following the flooding and fire damage to their building. Pray for patience and wisdom for the leadership and congregation as decisions are made, and for God’s provision of the right people, resources, and finances needed along the way. May He remove obstacles and unexpected delays, strengthen the church through this season, and help them remain united and encouraged as they look forward to worshipping together in their church home again.
• Middle East Baptist Church, Mississauga — Continue to pray for Middle East Baptist Church as they seek a new location to accommodate their growing congregation and ministry. Ask God to guide every step of the search, provide clarity as opportunities arise, and open the right doors in His timing. Pray for unity and discernment among the church leadership and congregation, and that their new home will become a place where they can continue to welcome people, grow in faith, and serve the community.
