PRAYER WALL

Praise Report

“Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done,”
(Matthew 6:9-10)

  • Give thanks that Cynthia Gnaba has been granted Canadian citizenship.
  • For the newcomers at LPBC and those who were baptized, that they will continue to grow in faith and feel welcomed into the church family.
  • For the Executive Council, that the Lord will grant wisdom, unity, and guidance as they work together in preparation for the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
  • Give thanks for the faithful and generous giving of those who support the ministries of LPBC, and pray that God will continue to provide the resources needed to carry out His work through our church. 🙏
  • Thank You for the spiritual gifts You have entrusted to each of us. Help us to use them humbly and faithfully, so that we may serve one another and be a blessing within the body of Christ.
  • We lift up our ministry leaders to You, Lord. Strengthen and encourage them as they serve, and guide them as they create opportunities for members and friends to be actively engaged in the life of the church.
  • We pray for the choir as they lead us this Sunday.  May You guide them, fill them with Your Spirit, and be glorified through their service as we gather to worship You.

Healing

“Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers,” (3 John 1:2)

  • Pray for Brody M. as he prepares for his leg surgery scheduled for next week.
  • For Max Brown, the brother-in-law of Glacia D. (in Washington, D.C.), as he battles a serious health condition. Pray that he will be relieved from pain and discomfort, and that God will grant strength, comfort, and peace to his wife and family members who are faithfully at his side.
  • For Glacia D., that despite her recent diagnosis with Parkinson’s, she would continue to place her hope and trust in the Lord each day, and remain steadfast in her faith, believing Him for healing.
  • Pray for Kevin, Pier T.’s cousin in North Carolina. A couple of years ago we prayed for the cancer in his spine, and we thank God that it was healed at that time. Sadly, the cancer has returned in a different form. Kevin is now undergoing radiation and chemotherapy and has had a difficult reaction to the chemotherapy medication. Please pray for God’s healing, strength, and comfort for Kevin, and for wisdom for the doctors caring for him. 🙏
  • Remember our shut-ins who are battling ongoing health issues; ask the Lord to touch them with His healing hand and surround them with sustaining grace day by day.
  • Give thanks to God for the progress in Ken (John G.’s son) and pray for his complete restoration and renewed strength.
  • Intercede for Joe L., asking for a miraculous healing of his liver and for divine wisdom to rest on his medical team as they plan the next steps.
  • Pray for Tricia L. (Stuart’s wife) during her kidney treatment; may God’s mercy bring full restoration and health to her kidneys.
  • Lift up Dorothy, Ruth M.’s friend, as she recovers from cancer; surround her with the peace of Christ and the tangible presence of God on every step of her healing journey.

Church

“Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest”  (Matthew 9:38)

  • Pray that God will raise up and send labourers to LPBC, equipping and enabling our church to faithfully carry out the Great Commission. May He guide and strengthen those who serve and call others to join in His work. 🙏
  • Pray for wisdom and discernment as we seek meaningful ways to support and build relationships with the groups that use our building throughout the year, including Glen Oak Academy, RCM, and the Nova Orchestra. May these connections become opportunities for encouragement, partnership, and outreach in our community. 🙏
  • That we would remain mission-focused, intentionally connecting with every person who comes through our doors and reflecting the love of Jesus in all we do.
  • Power of the Word: That the preaching of God’s Word at LPBC would strengthen our faith and transform lives, remembering that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). ✝️
  • For testimonies of healing, salvation, and breakthrough, especially for those seeking permanent employment and stable housing.
  • That the LPBC family would grow in hunger and thirst for prayer, and that new prayer groups would be birthed among us.
  • For a ministry leader who will faithfully support and engage young adults, nurturing their faith and growth in Jesus Christ.
  • That we would have the courage to share our faith, growing deeper in our understanding and obedience to God’s Word.
  • For Evelyn, our sponsored child, that she would feel loved and come to know that God has a purposeful plan for her life.
  • That we would be doers of God’s Word, not hearers only, living out our faith each day.
  • For our unsaved loved ones, that they would come to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.

National & Global

“He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the disgrace of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken,” (Isaiah 25:8)

  • Pray for the ongoing peace efforts between Israel and Lebanon, as well as among Israel, the United States, and Iran, that all parties would act in good faith, honor their commitments, and work toward peace and the well-being of their people.
  • For our Canadian government, that they would have wisdom and discernment in addressing economic challenges and in developing effective strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of all Canadians.
  • Ask God to grant courage, discernment, and unity to Christians as concerns are raised about Bill C-9. May we respond with prayerful hearts, gracious words, and unwavering faith, supporting those who are advocating and standing firm for religious freedom.
  • Pray for God’s protection over our families, that He would shield them from the evil one and guard them from every deceptive scheme.
  • Remember families in Mississauga who are grieving the loss of a loved one, a job, or a relationship this week. May they find comfort, support, and renewed strength.
  • Pray for the safety of Mississauga residents, especially in light of rising crime in the city. Ask for God’s peace to rest upon the community and for His protection over every neighborhood.
  • Pray that Christians across our nation will faithfully intercede for our country, standing firm in prayer and asking God to grant wisdom, integrity, and guidance to our leaders.
