• God Is Just – He Is Infinitely, Unchangeably Right and Perfect in All He Does
  “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He,”  Deuteronomy 32:4.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus,”  (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

• That Lavinia and Lameck found a beautiful place in Mississauga to call home, and for the generous blessings of furniture and household items for their new home.
• That Glen Oak Summer Camp had a wonderful experience using our facilities this summer, and for the opportunity to serve and bless their campers and staff.
• For Rachel Guevara’s commitment to complete her Humber College co-op program with us this Fall and Spring, and for the opportunity to support her learning and growth.
• Pray for our Revitalization Team as they continue seeking God’s direction for the future of LPBC. Ask the Holy Spirit to unite their hearts, sharpen their discernment, and give them wisdom and courage as they make decisions that will help our church grow in faithfulness and mission.
• Give thanks for God’s faithful provision for the ministries of LPBC. Praise Him for the generous hearts of our church family and for His continued faithfulness in meeting every need. Pray that God will keep equipping us with the people, resources, and opportunities to proclaim the Gospel, care for one another, and be a Christ-centred witness in our community.  🙏

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed,”   (Isaiah 53:5)

• Joe Larizza — Continue to lift Joe before the Lord as he awaits his liver transplant. Give thanks for God’s provision and for bringing Joe to this important point in his journey. Pray for a suitable donor, a smooth and successful transplant without complications, and a strong recovery. Ask God to sustain Joe and his family with patience, peace, and hope, and to guide and protect the medical team throughout every step.
• Sunil — Please continue to remember Sunil, a friend of Natalie’s sister in Trinidad, as she walks through treatment for Stage 3 cancer. Pray for renewed strength for each day, grace to face the challenges of treatment, and wisdom for her medical team. May Sunil experience God’s sustaining presence, peace, and comfort, and may He encourage her family and loved ones as they walk alongside her.
• Kevin — Continue praying for Kevin, Pier T.’s cousin in North Carolina, as he undergoes radiation and chemotherapy. Ask the Lord to give him strength and endurance through each treatment, sustain his body and spirit, and guard his heart from fear and discouragement. Pray for encouraging signs of progress and that Kevin and his family will be reminded of God’s presence and care throughout this journey.
• Shut-ins and Seniors — Let us continue to remember our shut-ins and seniors in prayer, asking God to meet them in their daily needs and remind them that they remain an important and valued part of our church family. Pray for strength, companionship, and encouragement, and that meaningful visits and connections will bring joy and help lessen feelings of loneliness or isolation.
• Dorothy — Continue to pray for Dorothy, Ruth M.’s friend, as she continues recovering from cancer. Give thanks for the progress and healing God has already provided, and ask Him to strengthen her for the days ahead. Pray for continued restoration, renewed hope, and peace, and for God’s loving presence to surround Dorothy and those caring for and supporting her.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,
but encouraging one another,”  (Hebrews 10:24–25)

• Children, Youth & Young Adults — Continue to pray for the children, youth, and young adults in our church family. Ask God to draw them closer to Jesus, strengthen their faith, and guide the decisions they make. Pray that they will find encouragement and belonging within the church, discover their gifts and purpose, and have the courage to live faithfully for Christ in their everyday lives.
• Volunteers & Ministry Leaders — Give thanks for those who faithfully invest their time and gifts in serving our children, youth, and families. Pray that God will renew their strength, encourage them when ministry feels challenging, and give them wisdom, patience, and compassion. May their faithful service and example help shape the faith of the next generation.
• Our Church Family — Pray that God would continue to draw us closer to Him and to one another. Ask the Holy Spirit to deepen our hunger for Scripture, strengthen our life of prayer, and help us grow in spiritual maturity. May we remain united in Christ and increasingly reflect His love, grace, and hope as we serve those around us.
• LPBC Choir — Pray for our Choir as they prepare to lead us in worship this Sunday. Pray for joy and unity as they rehearse and serve, and for God to strengthen each member as they use their gifts. May their ministry point our hearts toward Christ, encourage our faith, and help our congregation worship with gratitude and renewed hope.

“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness”  (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

• Please pray for the people of western Colombia following the recent earthquake. Pray for those who have been injured, lost loved ones or homes, and are facing uncertainty. May God bring comfort, protection, strength, and hope, and guide the rescue and relief efforts.
• Please continue to remember the people of Kumamoto, Japan, as communities recover from the effects of the earthquake. Pray for those rebuilding homes and lives, for comfort for those who continue to grieve loss, and for churches and relief organizations serving with compassion. May God bring healing, renewed hope, and lasting strength to all who have been affected.
• Continue to pray for all those impacted by wildfires across Canada. Lift up firefighters, emergency personnel, and volunteers as they work tirelessly to protect lives and communities. Ask the Lord to grant them safety, wisdom, and renewed strength. Remember families who have been evacuated or suffered loss, praying that God would provide comfort, provision, and hope as they recover and rebuild.
• Pray for God’s peace to prevail throughout the Middle East. Ask Him to guide leaders with wisdom and integrity as they seek paths toward peace and stability. Remember those living amid uncertainty, violence, and displacement, praying that the Lord would protect the vulnerable, comfort the grieving, provide for those in need, and open doors for reconciliation and lasting hope.
• Pray that God will continue His transforming work in our church, our families, and our community. Ask the Holy Spirit to deepen our faith, increase our love for Christ and His Word, and give us wisdom to follow His leading each day. May we be faithful witnesses of God’s grace, serving others with humility, compassion, and courage as we share the hope of the Gospel wherever He has placed us.

Queen Street Baptist Church (St. Catharines)

Please continue to pray for Queen Street Baptist Church in St. Catharines as they navigate the challenges following recent flooding and a fire that have made their church building unavailable for regular gatherings.

• Pray for Rev. Julie Ann as she provides leadership, encouragement, and pastoral care to the congregation during this challenging time.
• Pray for wisdom and guidance in determining next steps, including finding a suitable place to gather for Sunday worship and other ministry activities.
• Pray for God’s provision of the financial, physical, and emotional resources needed in the days ahead.
• Most of all, pray that the congregation will remain united in faith and trust God’s provision and direction, knowing that He is present and at work even in difficult circumstances.
