Praise Report

- Warren M. had a successful surgery on Thursday, June 5. Praising the Lord for the favorable outcome.
- We joyfully celebrate the arrival of baby girl Isbella to the Suárez family! Congratulations to Gioconda and Daniel from HBC on the birth of their daughter on Tuesday, May 27th. We thank God for this precious gift and pray for blessings, health, and happiness for their growing family.
- Pray for the Revitalization Team as they gather for prayer on Fridays and Sundays.
- For the church choir as they prepare to lead us in worship this coming Sunday. May they be filled with the Holy Spirit, and may their voices and hearts unite to glorify God and inspire the congregation.
- Pray for the Young Adults Gathering, that it would foster meaningful fellowship and discussion.
- Seek blessings for church members who are supporting the youth ministry by providing meals or desserts.
- Give thanks for everyone who helped with the church cleanup last Saturday.
- Remember Donna Lee and her team for their efforts in coordinating the printing of our AGM Report.
- Appreciation for the prayers and financial support of all who contribute to the ongoing ministry at LPBC.

Comfort

- Please pray for Pastor Laura and her family following the passing of her father in Dominica. May they find comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time.
- Pray for John and Scott, cousins of Pastor Laura Sellakandu, as they mourn the loss of their brother, Joash Etienne. May they be surrounded by the love and support of family and friends, and find strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time of grief.
Healing
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
- For Anthony in the Czech Republic (Sylvia’s brother-in-law) that he may be healed from stage 4 liver cancer and find the strength to surrender his life to the Lord.
- Prayers for Ken (John G.’s son) for continued progress towards good health and wholeness.
- Healing for Beverly H. from cancer cell attacks.
- God’s healing power for Joe L. over his liver.
- Complete healing and wholeness for Daria (wife of Anton Y., concert conductor) from stage 4 cancer.
- For Tricia L. (Stuart’s wife) receiving kidney treatment. That her kidneys will be restored to health.
- For Dorothy, Ruth M.’s friend, as she heals from cancer and experiences God’s peace while trusting Him on this journey.
Church

- Pray for Gustavo P. as he steps in to coordinate ministry topics during Pastor Laura’s bereavement absence. May he be guided with wisdom, strength, and compassion as he supports the church community during this time.
- Prayers for youth and adults seeking employment during these challenging economic times.
- For a ministry that effectively supports and engages young adults as they deepen their faith in Jesus.
- Guidance for the Revitalization Team as they meet to discuss, discern, and determine the next steps on their journey.
- That we gain the courage to share our faith as we grow in our understanding of God’s Word.
- For Esvelin, our sponsored child, to feel loved and to understand that God has a plan for her life.
- That more individuals will choose to be baptized at the upcoming baptism service.
- For our unsaved loved ones to soon surrender their lives to Jesus before His return.
- That we may identify the needs within our community and trust the Lord to empower us to make meaningful connections.
National & Global

- Prayers for the Manitoba government as they seek emergency support to tackle the severe fire conditions in eastern Manitoba.
- For the safety of Mississauga residents amidst an increase in crime within the city.
- Protection for the children and youth in our city, ensuring their safety in schools.
- Guidance for the district school boards as they work to address the issue of violence among students.
- For the de-escalation of hostilities between India and Pakistan to save lives and lead to a peaceful resolution between the two countries.
- Prayers for the families in Vancouver grieving the loss of loved ones due to a tragic act by a troubled individual.
- That the federal and provincial governments collaborate effectively to address the ongoing tariff disputes with the US.
- For the political and social conflicts in the Middle East, parts of Sudan, Ukraine, and Russia to subside, allowing international aid and psychological support to reach those in need.
- That Christians intercede for this country, steadfastly praying for our leaders.
- That Canadians remain resilient in the face of fluctuating challenges from the US.
