Praise Report

  • Give thanks to God for the meaningful message, “What Christmas Means to Me,” shared by Rev. Jackie Erskine at the LPBC Ladies’ Christmas Tea, and for Cheryle Dueck, founder of GMI Hub, who led us in joyful Christmas carol singing.
  • Praise God that Rev. Pam Cullen shows no signs of active cancer cells and is officially considered to be in remission. Thanks be to the Lord! ✨
  • Give thanks for the strong turnout at Prime Timers this week and for the guest organist who enriched the gathering with music.
  • Thank God for His goodness and loving-kindness that have carried us throughout the year 2025. ❤️
  • Give thanks for the spiritual gifts God has entrusted to us so that we may be a blessing within the body of Christ. ✨
  • Pray for our ministry leaders who faithfully serve and create opportunities for members and friends to grow and engage in the life of the church.
  • Lift up all volunteers who generously give their time, service, and finances in support of the ongoing ministry at LPBC. ❤️
  • Pray for the worship team as they lead us in worship this coming Sunday.

Healing

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth,” (3 John 2)

  • Pray for God’s abundant provision so that Steven S. can receive his urgent eye surgery without any financial hindrance.
  • Remember our shut-ins who are battling ongoing health issues; ask the Lord to touch them with His healing hand and surround them with sustaining grace day by day.
  • Give thanks to God for the progress in Ken (John G.’s son) and pray for his complete restoration and renewed strength.
  • Intercede for Joe L., asking for a miraculous healing of his liver and for divine wisdom to rest on his medical team as they plan the next steps.
  • Pray for Tricia L. (Stuart’s wife) during her kidney treatment; may God’s mercy bring full restoration and health to her kidneys.
  • Lift up Dorothy, Ruth M.’s friend, as she recovers from cancer; surround her with the peace of Christ and the tangible presence of God on every step of her healing journey.

Church

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised),” (Hebrews 10:23)

  • Pray for the baptism of Cleveland C. this coming Sunday, that it will be a true and powerful witness of faith in Jesus Christ to all who attend, both in person and online. ✝️
  • Pray for church members and visitors who are traveling to be with family this Christmas season, that they may enjoy rich times of fellowship and return home safely. ✈️
  • Ask God to raise up a ministry leader who will faithfully support and engage young adults as they grow deeper in their faith in Jesus.
  • Pray for courage and boldness to share our faith as we continue to grow in our understanding of God’s Word. ✨
  • Lift up Evelyn, our sponsored child, that she may feel deeply loved and come to know that God has a purposeful plan for her life. ❤️
  • Pray that many will choose to be baptized at the upcoming baptism service, publicly declaring their faith in Christ. ✝️
  • Intercede for our unsaved loved ones, that they may surrender their lives to Jesus before His return. ❤️
  • Ask the Lord to help us recognize the needs in our community and trust Him to empower us to make meaningful and loving connections. ✨

National & Global

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10)

  • Pray for families in Australia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Ukraine, the Middle East, and Sudan who are grieving the loss of loved ones during this season, that they may experience God’s comfort and peace.
  • Ask for God’s protection over our families, guarding them from the evil one and from all deceitful schemes. ️
  • Lift up families in Mississauga who need a shoulder to lean on this week as they mourn the loss of a loved one, a job, or a relationship. ❤️
  • Pray for the safety of Mississauga residents, especially amid an increase in crime within the city, asking for God’s peace and protection over the community. ️
  • Pray that Christians will faithfully intercede for our country, standing firm in prayer for wisdom and guidance for our leaders.
