Comfort

“…and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away,” (Revelation 21:4)

  • Pray for the Sellakandu family—both here and abroad—as they mourn the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother this week. Ask the Lord to surround them with His tender comfort, to fill their hearts with precious memories, and to anchor them in the blessed hope of the resurrection, bringing deep and lasting peace.

Church

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised),” (Hebrews 10:23)

  • Pray for a vibrant, Spirit-led ministry that powerfully draws young adults into a deeper, life-changing faith in Jesus and equips them to walk closely with Him.
  • Ask the Lord to fill us with holy boldness and wisdom as we share our faith, and to deepen our love and understanding of His Word every day.
  • Lift up Evelyn, our sponsored child; pray she feels deeply loved, knows she is precious to God, and grows in confidence that He has a beautiful plan for her life.
  • Pray that many hearts will be stirred by the Holy Spirit to take the step of baptism at the upcoming service, publicly declaring their faith in Jesus.
  • Intercede earnestly for our unsaved loved ones—that the eyes of their hearts would be opened, and they would surrender fully to Jesus while there is still time before His return.
  • Ask God to open our eyes to the real needs in our community, to give us compassionate hearts, and to empower us by His Spirit to build meaningful, life-giving connections that reflect His love.

National & Global

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10)

  • Ask God to protect the residents of Mississauga amid rising crime; grant wisdom and effectiveness to law enforcement, and cover homes and streets with His safeguarding presence.
