Praise Report

  • For the Men’s breakfast that is creating space for fellowship and encouragement.
  • For the Bible Studies that offer numerous opportunities to engage with God’s Word.
  • For the Revitalization Team host a Zoom prayer time this Saturday at 10:30 am.
  • Grateful for every volunteer serving in various roles and supporting the ongoing ministry at LPBC.
  • Appreciation for the prayers and financial contributions from everyone supporting LPBC’s ongoing ministry.

Healing

“He Himself bore our sins’ in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness;
by His wounds you have been healed.’”  1 Peter 2:24

  • For Pier’s Aunt Lynne (Kevin’s mother) as she undergoes surgery on February 28th. We hope for a successful procedure and no signs of cancer.
  • For a miraculous healing for Beverly H., that she becomes completely free of cancer.
  • For Joe L., that his liver heals and he is restored to full health.
  • For Ruth M., that she continues to improve each day.
  • For Ken Graham (John G.’s son), who is currently in the hospital and needs a miraculous recovery for his kidney.
  • For Joe and Barb Y.’s friend Fraser that he receives a liver donor soon.
  • For Daria Y. (wife of recent concert conductor), receiving treatment for stage 4 cancer. Let’s pray that she would experience complete healing and wholeness in her body.
  • For healing and wholeness for Kevin’s (Pier’s cousin in US) who has been  diagnosed with cancer in his spine.
  • For Tricia L. (Stuart’s wife) receiving kidney treatment. That her kidneys will be restored to health.
  • For Dorothy, Ruth M.’s friend, as she heals from cancer and experiences God’s peace while trusting Him on this journey.

Church

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you” Matthew 6:33

  • Pray that we become a people of prayer, always eager to spend time in prayer.
  • Pray for Pier and Warren’s safe travels during their ski trip to Western Canada from February 23 to March 2.
  • Pray for Mark (Donna Lee and Gustavo’s son) that the challenges he is facing draw him closer to the Lord and lead to a breakthrough in his life.
  • May we trust the Holy Spirit to guide us in the outreach efforts He desires for our church community to focus on.
  • May we realize that people might not be interested in what we say, but they will remember how much we cared for them.
  • We hope that newcomers receive their work permits and find jobs that enable them to work and secure affordable housing.
  • May our current ministries and engagements align with the church’s vision and mission.
  • For the volunteer and financial resources needed to enhance our work, including worship experiences, community engagements, and support for the technical team.
  • May we remain open to how the Lord wants us to reach out to each other and our new neighbors through the housing developments in Port Credit and Clarkson.

National & Global

“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.  These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you have tribulation but take courage;  I have overcome the world” John 14:1, 16:33.

  • For the ongoing safe and peaceful exchange of hostages between Israel and Hamas.
  • For the families returning to the Gaza Strip after months of conflict.
  • Pray that God’s will is fulfilled as Ontarians head to the polls to elect a new leader.
  • For the passengers experiencing anxiety following the recent Delta plane crash at Pearson International Airport.
  • For the Suarez family and the safe arrival of their baby girl this Spring.
  • For Canadian government members to find a constructive way forward regarding the anticipated tariffs on our goods and services.
  • That Christians will not remain silent but will stand in prayer and have a voice in this nation.
  • That God’s will be done as the Liberal Government seeks a new leader and for a sense of order in the federal government during this turbulent time.
