Praise Report

- Praise God for the Ministry Leaders who were highlighted last Sunday.
- Give thanks for those who have committed to serve faithfully at LPBC.
- Lift up the caregivers who are providing loving and dedicated support to their family members and loved ones.
- Pray for the ongoing in-person and online Bible studies—that they may continue to reach and impact lives.
- Remember the prayer partners who are interceding for children, youth, and young adults.
- Pray for the choir as they prepare to lead the congregation in worship this coming Sunday.

Healing
“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed,” 1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV)
- Pray for Ruth M. as she recovers from a recent medical procedure at CVH. May she continue to sense God’s comforting presence with her.
- Lift up George McKenzie, currently at Trillium Hospital, and his wife, Merna. Pray for healing, strength, and unwavering faith for them both.
- Pray that Rev. Pam Cullen responds positively to her treatments, and that God would calm her heart and mind throughout each session.
- Remember our shut-ins who are facing ongoing health challenges. May they experience God’s healing touch and sustaining grace.
- Intercede for Anthony in the Czech Republic (Sylvia’s brother-in-law), asking for healing from stage 4 liver cancer and for the strength to surrender his life to the Lord.
- Give thanks for Ken (John G.’s son) and pray for continued progress toward full health and restoration.
- Pray for Joe L. as he prepares for an upcoming medical procedure this month. May he trust in the Lord and receive healing.
- Lift up Daria (wife of Anton Y., concert conductor), asking for daily strength and healing in her journey through cancer.
- Pray for Tricia L. (Stuart’s wife) as she undergoes kidney treatment. May her kidneys be restored to full health through God’s mercy.
- Pray for Dorothy, a friend of Ruth M., as she recovers from cancer. May she experience God’s peace and presence throughout her healing journey.
Church

“Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.
To that end keep alert with all perseverance,
making supplication for all the saints,” Ephesians 6:18
- Pray for wisdom and clarity as we take the next steps in our revitalization journey. Ask for God’s guidance as the team prepares to share with the congregation and reconnect with the CBOQ cohort.
- Ask for God’s protection over students as they return to school next week. Pray against violence and harmful influences, and for a smooth transition back into their studies, supported by habits that nurture their mental well-being.
- Pray for teachers and school staff during this academic year—that they may be equipped with patience, strength, and perseverance as they support and guide their students.
- Lift up our young adult ministry, praying that it will be a space where lives are transformed and faith in Jesus deepens meaningfully.
- Pray that we, as a church community, would grow in boldness to share our faith, rooted in a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
- Pray for Evelyn, our sponsored child, that she would feel deeply loved and come to know that God has a unique and beautiful plan for her life.
- Ask the Lord to stir hearts toward baptism, and that more individuals would make the decision to publicly declare their faith in the upcoming baptism service.
- Intercede for our unsaved loved ones, that they may surrender their lives to Jesus and receive His salvation before His return.
- Pray that God would help us recognize the needs in our local community and give us the courage and resources to make meaningful, Spirit-led connections.
National & Global
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words,” Romans 8:26
- Pray for families who are grieving the recent loss of loved ones. May they find comfort, peace, and strength in God’s presence during this difficult time.
- Lift up the city of Mississauga, asking for protection and safety for all residents amid the recent rise in crime.
- Pray for unity and wisdom as federal and provincial governments work together to resolve ongoing tariff disputes with the United States.
- Ask that Christians across Canada remain faithful in prayer, interceding regularly for our nation and its leaders.
- Pray that Canadians remain strong and resilient in the face of economic uncertainty and rising tariffs, trusting God through every challenge.
