  • The monthly Men’s Breakfast offer meaningful fellowship and support among the men.
  • For the Youth Alpha gathering create opportunities for youth connection and Bible study.
  • For the Youth Unlimited intern effectively support Rev. Karen with the Youth Alpha program.
  • For the baptism candidate be guided in their journey to walk in obedience as a follower of Jesus.
  • For Jonathan Roe be inspired and blessed as he leads worship this coming Sunday.
  • Appreciation for the prayers and financial support of all who contribute to the ongoing ministry at LPBC.

Healing

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”  Matthew 7:7

  • For Anthony in the Czech Republic (Sylvia’s brother-in-law) that he may be healed from stage 4 liver cancer and find the strength to surrender his life to the Lord.
  • For Joash Etienne in England (Pastor Laura’s cousin), who is battling stage 3 cancer that has spread to his liver, lungs, and bones. May he experience a miracle of healing and come to salvation.
  • Prayers for Ken (John G.’s son) for continued progress towards good health and wholeness.
  • Healing for Beverly H. from cancer cell attacks.
  • God’s healing power for Joe L. over his liver.
  • Complete healing and wholeness for Daria (wife of Anton Y., concert conductor) from stage 4 cancer.
  • For Tricia L. (Stuart’s wife) receiving kidney treatment. That her kidneys will be restored to health.
  • For Dorothy, Ruth M.’s friend, as she heals from cancer and experiences God’s peace while trusting Him on this journey.

Church

  • Prayers for youth and adults seeking employment during these challenging economic times.
  • For a ministry that effectively supports and engages young adults as they deepen their faith in Jesus.
  • For the Revitalization Team meeting this Saturday and on Monday with other CBOQ Revitalization teams, that they may discern wisely and encourage one another.
  • That we gain the courage to share our faith as we grow in our understanding of God’s Word.
  • For Esvelin, our sponsored child, to feel loved and to understand that God has a plan for her life.
  • That more individuals will choose to be baptized at the upcoming baptism service.
  • For our unsaved loved ones to soon surrender their lives to Jesus before His return.
  • That we may identify the needs within our community and trust the Lord to empower us to make meaningful connections.
  • For additional cameras and volunteers to help foster a sense of personal connection and community for all who join us online.

National & Global

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

  • For the de-escalation of hostilities between India and Pakistan to save lives and lead to a peaceful resolution between the two countries.
  • Prayers for the families in Vancouver grieving the loss of loved ones due to a tragic act by a troubled individual.
  • That the federal and provincial governments collaborate effectively to address the ongoing tariff disputes with the US.
  • For the political and social conflicts in the Middle East, parts of Sudan, Ukraine, and Russia to subside, allowing international aid and psychological support to reach those in need.
  • That Christians intercede for this country, steadfastly praying for our leaders.
  • That Canadians remain resilient in the face of fluctuating challenges from the US.
