  • Gratitude for Rev. Karen and the Youth Unlimited volunteer who accompanied and supported our youth during the retreat.
  • Pray for the youth who attended the CBOQ Ascent Youth Retreat last weekend, that the seeds planted in their hearts will continue to grow and bear fruit.
  • Appreciation for the commitment of EC members diligently preparing for the fall budget meeting.
  • Give thanks for everyone who responded generously to the recent request supporting a family in need.
  • Thankfulness for the tithes, offerings, and everyone contributing in various ways at LPBC.
  • Praise for the choir as they prepare to lead the congregation in worship this coming Sunday.

Comfort

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted,” (Matthew 5:4)

  • For Anton Yeretsky mourning the loss of his beloved wife Daria this week, that he finds daily strength from the Lord and comfort in every difficult moment.

Healing

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth,” (3 John 2)

  • For Steven S. to be prioritized for urgent eye surgery.
  • For Dwayne (Donna L.’s brother) who is at the hospital for a medical procedure.
  • For Robert (Jackie’s brother-in-law) facing upcoming eye surgery and strength to endure the recovery protocol.
  • For Suren S. (Benjamin’s dad) to recover fully following surgery.
  • Prayers Rev. Pam Cullen as she completes her final round of chemotherapy, with prayers for a positive and effective treatment response.
  • Remember our shut-ins who are facing ongoing health challenges. May they experience God’s healing touch and sustaining grace.
  • Give thanks for Ken (John G.’s son) and pray for continued progress toward full health and restoration.
  • Prayers for Joe L.’s miraculous healing of his liver and wisdom for the doctors as they determine next steps.
  • Pray for Tricia L. (Stuart’s wife) as she undergoes kidney treatment. May her kidneys be restored to full health through God’s mercy.
  • Pray for Dorothy, a friend of Ruth M., as she recovers from cancer. May she experience God’s peace and presence throughout her healing journey.

  • Prayers for congregation members who will volunteer their time to support youth on youth nights.
  • For Victor L. job search mission within his company. For the favor of God to rest on him and guide him in this season of his life.
  • For a ministry that powerfully supports and engages young adults in deepening their faith in Jesus.
  • For courage to share our faith boldly as we grow in understanding God’s Word.
  • For Evelyn, our sponsored child, to feel loved and to understand that God has a plan for her life.
  • Ask God that more individuals will choose to be baptized at the upcoming baptism service.
  • For our unsaved loved ones to soon surrender their lives to Jesus before His return.
  • That we may identify the needs within our community and trust the Lord to empower us to make meaningful connections.

National & Global

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10)

  • For relief agencies in the Caribbean to have seamless access to unreached hurricane-affected regions.
  • For peace talks between Israel and Hamas, and Russia and Ukraine, to gain full recognition by all parties, enabling urgent care for families.
  • Lift up the city of Mississauga, asking for protection and safety for all residents amid the recent rise in crime.
  • Pray for unity and wisdom as federal and provincial governments work together to resolve ongoing tariff disputes with the United States.
  • Ask that Christians across Canada remain faithful in prayer, interceding regularly for our nation and its leaders.
